The gift is the easy part. The fine print is not.
A voucher for a Ferrari or Lamborghini track drive looks the same everywhere: a car, a few laps, a certificate to print. The difference shows up months later, when the recipient tries to use it. How long is it good for? Can it be refunded? Is the damage-protection plan in the price or an extra? Can a 17-year-old use it?
We read the gift terms of four U.S. operators on Oct 30, 2026, put them side by side, and link every line to the page it came from.
Three things on this site you can use today
Gift-terms table
Validity, minimum age, refunds and whether the damage plan is in the price, for four operators, each cell linked to its source.
2Which gift fits?
Four questions to choose between a dated booking, an open-date certificate and a ride-along.
3Recipient checklist
Licence, age, height and weight limits to confirm with the recipient before you spend a dollar.
Why not just read the operators' pages?
You can, and you should before you buy. But each page covers its own terms. Racing Adventures prints "ALL SALES ARE FINAL. THERE ARE NO REFUNDS FOR ANY REASON" in capital letters near the bottom of its page, Xtreme Xperience's gift page says nothing about how long a gift card lasts (that is in a separate help article, its refund policy), and Exotics Racing's gift page covers Las Vegas only. We put the questions a gift buyer has in one table so you do not need to open ten tabs.
Information last checked Oct 30, 2026. Not legal advice. The terms printed on the certificate you buy are the ones that apply.
Questions gift buyers ask
Does a gift certificate for an exotic car drive expire?
It depends on the operator. Racing Adventures says its certificates are good for two years (purchases after Oct 1, 2025); SPEED VEGAS / Exotics Racing says five years from purchase; Xtreme Xperience says e-gift card funds do not expire for at least five years; Dream Racing says certificates never expire unless otherwise noted. Sources and the date we read each page are on the gift terms page.
Can I get my money back if the recipient can't go?
Usually not. Racing Adventures says all sales are final with no refunds for any reason; Xtreme Xperience refunds 95% only within 7 days of purchase, and not for e-gift cards. Check the table on the gift terms page before you pay.
How old does the recipient need to be?
Xtreme Xperience, Racing Adventures and Exotics Racing (SPEED VEGAS) list 18 as the minimum age to drive; Dream Racing lists 16 with a parent or guardian signing the waiver for anyone under 18. Ride-along ages differ. All pages were read Oct 30, 2026.
